Last year's Pride Event hosted by Taylor Wessing was fantastic. Here is the blog we posted at the time.

We are so lucky to have an incredible network of friends. We are also very fortunate to be invited to some wonderful events by those friends. Some favourites by far were the events held to honour our #lgbtqia friends. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of attending Taylor Wessing's annual Pride event.

To paraphrase, Saleem Fazal; we can only build strong communities when we communicate effectively.

People can only communicate honestly and openly if they are able to be true to themselves. Fazal’s candid and reflective speech about being true to who you are moved me immensely. A speech that focused on being the most authentic version of yourself. His powerful message that the energy wasted on hiding who you are can rid you of achieving your true potential was powerful. Far too often judgement leads people to dark places. Saleem shed light on the power of being your most true self.

Fazal Saleem, a partner for @taylorwessingllp heads the Real Estates disputes group.

Thank you @lauryn_frances for the invite and the whole team at @taylorwessingllp for a wonderful commitment to the community. Not just for Pride events but each and every day.
